What’s your style?
My approach to wedding photography combines an editorial and documentary style. I want you to have breathtaking photographs that will make you remember how you felt on your wedding day and all the love you shared with your family and friends.
How long have you been in business and how many weddings have you photographed?
I’ve been a full-time wedding photographer for 12 years and I’ve photographed more than 300 weddings.
Where do you live and do you travel?
I’m based in Texas and on the East Coast and I photograph weddings nationally and internationally. I’ve lived in 4 different countries and if I don’t know my way around, I can figure things out easily.
How many photos can we expect to get?
Couples can expect to get around 1000-1200 photographs for a 10-hour wedding with a second photographer and a minimum of 65 photographs for an engagement session. All of them edited according to my style of photography.
Do you have second photographers?
Yes.
When will we receive our images?
8-10 weeks for weddings, 2-3 weeks for portrait sessions.
Do you watermark our digital files?
No, I don’t.
Are all the photos delivered edited?
Yes. You will receive all the photos edited according to my style of photography.
Can we receive the outtakes?
As part of my editing process, I delete images that do not meet my standards for delivery, this can be anything from blurriness, test shots, repeats, shots where the flash doesn’t fire, etc. I deliver all of the images that don’t fall into those undeliverable categories. The outtakes are not archived, so they are not available.
Can I have the RAW files (negatives unedited)?
I do not release RAW files. What you will receive are edited jpeg files, along with a printing release, which gives you the full ability to print the photographs whenever and wherever you would like.
Can I print the images myself?
Yes. You will have the right to make unlimited copies, prints, and other reproductions for personal, non-commercial use and distribution. Keep in mind that a professional lab offers higher-quality photo paper, higher-quality inks, and each photograph is reviewed after being printed to make sure it matches the computer screen. Non-professional labs are great for snap-shot prints but when it comes to printing professional photos, their printers are not calibrated the way they should be, likely the prints won’t come out the way you see on the computer screen.
Can I order prints from you?
Yes, you will be able to order through your online gallery. The gallery with all the photos will be online for 9 months.
Do you provide video services?
No. I’ve worked with amazing videographers, let me know if you need a referral.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, I have a million-dollar liability policy.
Can you provide proof of insurance for my venue?
Yes.
Do you shoot digital or film?
I shoot 100% digital.
Do you have backup equipment?
Several.
How can I book you?
Just fill out the contact form with your wedding details and we will start from there. Or you can send an email to contact@carolinelimaphotography.com.
Can you hold my date?
I’m afraid I can’t. Your date is locked in with a signed contract and a retainer.
What is your payment schedule for weddings?
The retainer fee (50%) is due when the contract is signed and the final balance is due 30 days before the wedding date.
Can we pay the final payment after the wedding?
The final payment is due 30 days before the wedding date. If you decided to upgrade your wedding album or add additional products, this can be paid after the wedding.
Where can I find your reviews?
You can see them on Wedding Wire, I think brides are incredibly honest in their reviews. Click HERE to view them.
What’s in your camera bag?
