Time now to look back on a wonderful fall adventure and share some very special Texas Engagement Photos! I had such fun with Meredith and Eshaan! Our session took us to areas of Austin that I hadn’t worked in before, and I’m always excited to explore new places. On top of that, they included their adorable dog Kygo. If you read my blog, you know how much I love it when pets join in the fun!
We began our afternoon at Laguna Gloria, which is the 14-acre outdoor campus of The Contemporary Austin museum. A large and graceful garden, Laguna Gloria is home to an impressive collection of sculptures including Water Woman by Wangechi Mutu – a mermaid who sits gazing out over Lake Austin. Who knew there were mermaids in Texas! It was a great start to the session, strolling on the terraces in the sunshine with Kygo trotting happily beside us.
A quick outfit change later, we were heading up to Mount Bonnell for stunning views and a beautiful sunset. Mount Bonnell sits just above Austin, so looking out from its summit offers quite the perspective on the Colorado River. As Meredith and Eshaan held each other in the warm fall light, I felt grateful for the fun we’d had exploring – and already very excited for their upcoming wedding in October of this year! Eshaan’s family is from India, so they’re planning an Indian fusion celebration. You know I love multicultural weddings and I can’t wait to work again with Wild Sky Events.
This was truly a lovely day visiting some of Austin’s most picturesque spots. Thank you to Meredith and Eshaan for the adventure – and I hope you enjoy their Texas Engagement photos!
