Mountain Weddings | Seely & Bo

I can’t help but break into a big grin as I sit here thinking about Bo and Seely’s Roaring Gap wedding in the North Carolina mountains. I laughed the entire time I was with this energetic, fun couple and all their loved ones! I knew I would have a blast on their big day back when I worked on their engagement session in August of last year. We had the best time that afternoon as Bo and Seely rode their bikes, enjoyed a beer and introduced me to their family. It was important to me to capture these two doing what they love best, and their wedding was more of the same!
This was the most crazy-fun, excited bridal party I have ever photographed! I can’t even explain it! There was lots of clapping (I still don’t know why, but it was awesome) and laughter and shenanigans. The groomsmen’s orange ties were a great nod to the sunshiny, fun energy swirling through the celebration. If you read my blog, then you know I love this: Seely’s bridesmaids all wore a different style of dress in the same color. It was clear how comfortable and thrilled they all were! Not surprising that Seely and Bo are adored by everyone. And their families are super-tight and so loving. Bo and Seely’s parents are close that they even hang out together when their kids aren’t around!
After the ceremony, the joy continued into the night. Bo and his dad and brothers are musicians, so at one point they all got up onstage for a surprise performance. It was hilarious (they wore wigs!!) and right in line with all the great fun of the day. Watching this loving couple make their exit through bright sparklers and smiling faces was the cherry on top!

The last six months have been big for me, moving my life and business from Virginia to Texas. It’s couples like Seely and Bo that make me proud to do what I do and excited for my next chapter as a San Antonio wedding photographer! I hope you feel the same rush of happiness that I do when you see their wedding photos.
